HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

Beginning in late fall, students who are currently being home schooled and have been members of RAACHE for the past three years gather together with other families to start planning the May graduation ceremony. In this unique event, parents bless their students as they present them with their diplomas.

CHOIR

RAACHE provides singing opportunities for children 5 years of age through high school. At the younger levels, two age appropriate non-auditioned choirs provide familiarization of music, vocal blending, and group participation in concerts and in an annual musical drama. From 12 years of age and up, students have the opportunity to audition for one of two choirs. At this level, commitment to attendance and practice is required. These students engage with a variety of musical styles, continue to learn musical performance skills, and perform in concerts, competitions, and tours.

SCHOOL PICTURES

In the past, RAACHE has partnered with Graham Photography to provide families the opportunity to purchase annual school picture packages. This usually occurs around the second or third week of October. Picture pick up day is slated for mid-November.

ANNUAL SCIENCE FAIR AND PROJECT DAY

Early each spring, students have the opportunity to showcase their science and other projects and present their findings to others in poster board or model format.

EVENING OF MUSIC AND RECITATION

Organized fall and winter semester opportunities for your students to share what they are learning through music or memory with others - be it their peers, church members, grandparents, or the elderly. These evenings provide practice in poise and articulation.

HOME SCHOOL ICE SKATING

Home School ice skating is available at the Recreation Center on Elton Hills Drive and Broadway  from January through March on Friday afternoons. A nominal fee is required. Look for more information in the newsletter as we draw closer to the season.

Annual Family Picnic

We kick off each school year in late August by meeting at a local park. This is a great chance for new members to find out  more about RAACHE and to get to know other members. Date, time, location, and details are provided in our August/September Newsletter.
